Results of The 2024 Orison Chapbook Prize

We're pleased to announce that Luke Hankins, founder and editor of Orison Books, has selected "Future Elegies," a poetry collection by Bryce Emley, as the winner of The 2024 Orison Chapbook Prize from hundreds of anonymous submissions. Emley will receive $300 and publication of his chapbook.


Hankins is also pleased to recognize the following outstanding finalist manuscripts:

ABOUT THE WINNER


Bryce Emley is the author of the chapbooks Terminating Physics [a reference guide] (Alternating Current Press), A Brief Family History of Drowning (Sonder Press Chapbook Prize), and Smoke and Glass (Folded Word). A former Narrative "30 Below 30" poet and a recipient of awards and residencies from Aspen Autumn Words, The Edward F. Albee Foundation, The Glen Workshop, The Wesleyan Summer Writers Conference, Sixfold, and The Pablo Neruda Prize, Bryce works as a content writer in New Mexico.
